VR/PR is launched as ctrlX IPC , if that means ctrlX CORE inside?

the customer  wants to use ctrlXIPC with ctrlX CORE, the question is that if ctrlX CORE is NOT necessary when the cusotmer could use VR/PR31?

or the customer must need ctrlX CORE to connect to VR/PR31? Thanks

Hello,

ctrlX IPC is the industrial PC portfolio of ctrlX AUTOMATION.

Any product of this ctrlX IPC portfolio can be used with ctrlX CORE.

In addition, ctrlX CORE and ctrlX IPC can be used independently, also in combination with other components from the Rexroth portfolio, like IndraControl XM and IndraControl V.

Are there particular requirements for interoperability or an automation topology which should be supported?

The solution with ctrlX CORE running on ctrlX IPC (either as a harware option or a software solution) was postponed. Customer expect a ctrlX CORE based on IPC solution as a high performance solution. For this we will have a high end embedded control version of ctrlX CORE to cover this demand.
