Influxdb memory limit

Hello,

what is the memory limit for storing influxdb data (without adding an external memory)?

Is it the ctrlX CORE memory (4GB) itself that defines this limit? I was wondering if it has a protection before the memory is full.

There is no limitation but the size of the internal flash at the moment.

But we always recommend to use an external memory on your ctrlX CORE if you want to use the InfluxDB App. Please see this How To, on how to achieve that.
