Can I use PR21 with IIOT software to read signals from S20 bus coupler S20-ETH-BK?

S20-ETH-BK will connect with one digital and one analog input modules, like S20-AI-4-I and S20-DI-16/4.

Since we got S20 module leading time issue cause of semiconductor problem, we want to change IO modules from S20 to CtrlX.

Therefore I have another question:

Can I use PR21 with IIOT software to read signals from CtrlX bus coupler XB-EC-12?

This is not possible. The S-20 Bus coupler driver within IoT Gateway software is based on Modbus. The ctrlX IO bus coupler is available with EtherCAT as protocol only.

OK, thanks, then we will go with CtrlX solution.

But we still have some S20 IO station with S20-ETH-BK bus coupler in stock, if I want to use CtrlX core to read signal from these S20 IO station, I need Modbus TCP License installed in CtrlX Core, am I correct?
