Trying to follow these instructions...Import EtherCAT IO realtime data offline into ctrlX PLC Engineering (boschrexroth.com)
But getting stuck on this step. I can add "Saving EtherCat configuration" but it doesn't show up in my menu system afterwards.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Which ctrlX PLC Engineering version exactly is used on your side? As it is working fine on the LTS version s 1.20.x and 2.6.x?
Please beware that the location of the marked line in the menus on the screenshot needs to be identical, otherwise the node will be visible wherever chosen but not where shown in the how to.

Hi @CodeShepherd,
I tried 1.20.11 and also 2.6.4. Still not working.
I tried to do everything in the example. See screenshot below. Then I just click on OK. Do I need to do anything else?
But nothing appears in my Project menu.
I have tried shutting down and restarting the application and my computer.

You are right, please beware that it does show up in another context menu, see first picture of case two of the mentioned how to. I also added some more context: via right clicking the EtherCat master and choosing "Saving EtherCAT Configuration...".

Thanks @CodeShepherd
Can we get the ctrlX IO Engineering development team to make this a standard configuration in future?
