I/O Link Slave - I/O Engineering

Hello all,

I would like to connect several Beckhoff IO-Link devices via the ctrlX I/O Engineering. However, I have not found a way to install the IO slave files. 
Attached are the error messages.

Currently this kind of Beckhoff devices, which need additional IO-Link configuration support in the tool, isn't supported.

Currently no IODD support by IO Engineering.

We recommend to use an ESI based IO-Link Master Gateway, like they are offered by ifm.

and if I would use an IO-Link Master from IFM (which ctrlX supports) and connect a Beckhoff module with only IODDS support (e.g. epi2339 ) , would it work then ?

This will work, but the IODD support is with the IFM tool, like Moneo or LR Device, only
