I connect the sincos encoder to the XG21 multi encoder connector.
I use encoder ITD 49H00 0064 M of baumer and mechanic connected to the motor shaft.
this is an Sincos encoder 1Vpp with 64 period per revolution.
so i configur this as encoder 1 see picture below:
When i move the motor shaft i see the value basic output data changing but i do not see the value actual position value at extended output data changing.
Also i can home the encoder by SET absolute position.
then i get the message:
What could be the problem?

I find the follow document with the description to start a incremental encoder:
By the follow step i run the encoder evalution, and i recieve the follow error:
The motor can run freely and i see them moving over some turns.
error explanation: https://docs.automation.boschrexroth.com/doc/2822467242/c3701-motor-revolution-motion-impeded/latest...
an other thing what i see is that i do not trust the actual position value by the extended output data:
When i turn the motor shaft around for example 90 degrees, the actual position value is not changing in the same step. The value changed just a bit like example from 0 to 0.5256.
but is seems that the

The fault was comming from a misalignement of the magnetic ring of the encoder and a wire fault.
after reparing this all stif works fine.
