Cannot Exit Kiosk mode

I am trying to long press the "Exit Kiosk Mode" button in the upper left hand corner of the screen per teh manual, but nothing ever comes up. There is a line at the top of the screen and the left part of that line is blue as if it was a button; but if that is the button I cannot actually get to it.  did I not configure something right or do i need to reload the unit?

working with my RexRoth contact we discovered that the button is off the screen to the left, top left corner of the screen. Pulling in from the left and holding a few seconds will allow the button to activate when released and you will be prompted for the password.
