MS2N surface treament

Hello, 

Do we have any information (standard etc) regarding the surface treatment of the MS2N Motor. 

Only thing I can find, which is related in the planning manual is

It would be nice to know with corrosion protection we are talking about, e.g. it would be nice to known according to the standard ISO12944 (fx C2 or C3)?

There is no special surface treatment on MS2N motors, just a standard coating (see details in chap. 4 of MS2N PRJ manual), common in factory automation (FA) environment. The motor coating does not have an approved rating acc. to ISO 12944 - Corrosion protection of steel structures.

If there are inhouse or outside applications with harder requirements, the suitability of the product should be reviewed before deliveries will be made (if necessary contact your Rexroth sales partner)
