E8260 when do the 3rd-party motor test with XLI+XVR+XMS

E8260 when do the 3rd-party motor test with XLI+XVR+XMS

Dear Colleagues,

we are doing test with 3rd-motor using our XLI+XVR+XMS. We use velocity control mode and everything is OK when the motor speed is less than 2450 rpm.but when the motor speed is bigger than 2450 rpm, the motor will be in filedweaken and our drive will report E8260. but the S84 is only 30%. pleae see the picture below.

I also checked the below similar information. Does this means the toqrque is limited by the thermal calculation? but the motor real temperature is only 40℃ in my case according to the  motor temperature S-0-0383.

https://developer.community.boschrexroth.com/t5/ctrlX-DRIVE/CtrlX-Torque-Limit-P-0-0442-P-0-0443-S-0...

Could you help to give us some suggestion? thank you!

Hello Henry,

can you please make a scope file with the following parameters:

StefDu_0-1690963162794.png

Please trigger on S-0-0390 when E8260 is active

Pretrigger to 50%

In P-0-0445 we can check what is the reason for the limitation

regards,

Stefan

Hello Henry,

In your parameterfile you have set the P-0-4005 flux generating current to a positiv value

Normaly this value is negative .

It is calculated out of the following parameter (smallest value should be used):

P-0-4005 = -(S-0-0109)

or

P-0-4005 = -[2x(S-0-0111)]

Have you used the motor data identification C32 or C36?

regards,

Stefan

Dear Stefan,

Yes, we used  motor data identification C36 with step 1 and step2. But this procedure will change the motor parameter we inputed. And we tried C36 again, the P4005 is still positive. please see the parameter file in the attachment.

We also recorded the scope file according to your requirments, please also see the attachment. We give the command value P1460 = 2300 rpm. but the motor can only ramp up to 2212 rpm with E2860

thank you!

Best Regards,

Henry

Hello Henry,

sorry, the flux generating current has a positive value in ctrlX drives.

When I look to your new file the values of the motor (inductance, current,...) are different to the first one. P4005 is only 2A. is this determined by C36?

Do you perform the motor data identification with or without movement?

regards,

Stefan

Dear Stefan,

please see the comments for your question, thank you!

When I look to your new file the values of the motor (inductance, current,...) are different to the first one. P4005 is only 2A. is this determined by C36?> first one is we tested in customer site, and the new parameter file is we tested in our lab. after C36, the motor parameter will be changed, like the motor inductance. I don't know whether it's a bug.

Do you perform the motor data identification with or without movement?> we performed the motor data identification with both step 1 and 2, this means for both with and without movements.

Dear Stefan and Uwe, @StefDu @Drives_Uwe

Do you have some suggestion for this issue? it is very strange that the P442&P443 will change from 224.5% to only 30% when the motor ramp up from 2000 rpm to 2500rpm.

or can we just trun off the auto calculation of the P442 and P443 and let them fixed?

Hello Stef,

after we change the flux current value to negtive, we solve the problem, thank you!
