CtrlX Drive Panel Backup Restore Functions

CtrlX drives FW: XD1-AXS-V-0404NNN

Panel FW: XD1-PAN-V-0116

Backup works fine, we can generate the .par files. None of the backup options seems to backup the Drive FW into the panel. Maybe that is not that intent.

The problem is that when we need to restore the parameters back into the drive. To restore it asks for a Drive FW file which normally users do not have. what is the correct process here? If we load the FW files works well, and the restore process does load the FW again to the drive. ideally we do not want the FW to load which also takes time.

You are right. The proper firmware has to be loaded before to the panel.  If you have just one firmware version then it's easy. Just load the firmware on to the panel and use it.   The firmware can be found on the Collaboration room !!!

But backup/restore without PC is not possible if you have to use different firmware versions.
