I had an IoT setup that was sending data to an aws database, the core can no longer ping the server and has no access to the store. Pinging 8.8.8.8 works fine and the router is able to access all the end points. It just stopped working the other day out of the blue and I have no way to preform any network diagnostics.

Can you also ping google.com: ping google.com
If not it is a DNS problem the core probably has no access to a working DNS server.

Well I can ping google.com just fine. Thats a good idea though, I wish it were that simple.
Also this may or may not be related but just figued out the core is not getting the time from the ntp server (0.pool.ntp.org). I can keep the time updated but that seems to be another server the core can not access.
Edit the DNS portion gave me an idea though and forced the router and the core to use 8.8.8.8 and we were good to go so great call!
