Hello Community,
In one of my projects, I am planning to use two instances of ctrlX CORE to make my system redundant. I will read analogue sensor values via ctrlX IO (bus coupler and AI modules).
My question would be: Is there any solution to make the system redundant, as both ctrlX CORE could behave as EtherCAT master, and can read analogue sensor values simultaneously?
Best regards,
Aron Szekely

To achieve redundancy with two ctrlX CORE instances as EtherCAT masters, consider using a master-master setup or a shared communication protocol that allows both to read sensor values simultaneously without conflicts. Implementing a failover mechanism can help ensure continuous operation, where one master takes over if the other fails.
