Performance/ Number of data points with ctrlX Core

Is there a current limit of data points that the core can process in terms of performance?
And how will it be with the new ctrlX Core X3 Plus?

In general there is no limitation but the the size of the RAM.

The ctrlX COREplus X3 is the same CPU, RAM etc but with an open interface for extension modules. So there should not be a difference.
