What is the maximum amount of data a non-real-time and real-time app can provide to/consume from the datalayer?

This is not especially restricted, so it depends on the recourses of the hardware. Some settings can be found here: datalayer/server/settings. For example the maximum size of a RT memory range or the maximum message size.
