Hello,
I have a question regarding Linux that is running on the ctrlX core.
How I can acces the linux system from the ctrlX Core, in order to install a third party application directly from linux console (not from web interface). It's possible?
Also, which resources are available on the core for running this application?
We have a customer that developed a linux application for control of a cnc machine (like a software cnc) and they want to install it on our ctrlX core and I want to clarify if is possible.
Thank you for support.

The ctrlX CORE is using a Ubuntu Core20 distribution that i designed for minimum resource consumption and maximum security. It is not possible for a normal user to get directly in contact with the operating system like via ssh. Only internal or development partners can get such access. Also keep in mind that this OS is based on snap technology so there would be no apt store available.
Please have a look to our documentation for hardware specifications:
