How to Add a description of a PLC user variable to the Datalayer Node

Hi, my customer wants to add a description to the variables shown in the datalayer. He defines some symbolic variables and adds a comment to all variables. 
The comments are shown in the symbolic variable and in the PLC Engineering environment.
But how can I add a description in the datalayer node for my variables? Is this possible?
