Is it possible to edit the result zip file and upload it again to the device? I have tried this and I get this error:
Even if I only uncompress the zip and compress it again, without doing any modifications, I get the same error...

This is a little tricky, but if you unzip and rezip the archive, it actually places another directory level with the archive name inside the zip. When uploading to ctrlX OS, the system expects the archive in the format on the right of the image.
Yes, it is possible to manually edit the archives. See this example (No IDE Method).
