Hello Team,
I have CtrX Core X3 which had 1.20 version and i upgraded the core to ctrlx OS 2.6.4 the SD card. Also installed the 2.6.4 apps. But now i have license error, please find the screenshot below, where i have PLC version 1 license from before and now i have installed version 2, but the PLC app says you need version 1 license. could someone please help me ?

Yes, first I upgraded the OS using the SD card, then I uploaded the license file for OS PLC. then I installed apps. then when I try to use the PLC app it gives an error. could you please help?

yeah, but the PLC application (that you download from PLC engineering) if that is a 1.x app i think it still looks for the old license. And also check the date/time,

I tried multiple ways,
1. Reinstalled the firmware
2. Reset the device
3. Reinstalled the PLC app
4. Rebooted multiple times.
Its stil the same.

Mut you havnt tested downloading a new PLC application from PLC engineering? And is the date/time correct in the core?

I found the problem, its the time and date in the core is not synchronised with the browser.
Is it a security risk? is someone can change the date and time manual and manipulate things in the core?

Not really, its just that the date/time of the licenses where newer then the actual date time (ie the current date was outside the license validity). And if an license is expired and you move back the date in the core that license will be disabled.

Hello all,
I still have the problem, I got another CtrlX X3 from the customer, it was the prototype which our service team has installed at customer site.
I just started it up now and it gave PLC license error, even though it was working 2 weeks back at customer. so I set the date and time correct and gave a restart of the CtrlX core. Its still the same problem.
Based on the above screenshot, it says to contact support, what is the right thing to do here? should i put the license file back to the core so that its validated?

I uploaded the license file again, it mentioned its already available. So i gave a restart, still the same problem? do we have a solution for it?

As it is a "old" prototype version, did you also install the correct license version 2 there?
