Hello all,
I would like to run Python scripts under the ctrlx-automation-sdk without using the CtrlX Core hardware. Is it possible to simulate CtrlX device on the Ubuntu OS.
If possible, how can I implement this ? I would like to read/write data to the datalayer
Thank you
Best Regards
Deniz

If you have access to CtrlX Works it should be possible to set up a virtual CtrlX on your device. However I believe its only for windows OS so far. You can do everything with virtual CtrlX just like with a real CORE.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, unfortunately ctrlx works is only available for Windows OS. Is there any other way to run virtual ctrlx core on Ubuntu OS ?

In general the ctrlX COREvirtual is QEMU based virtualisation. So it could also be run on a Ubuntu OS. But beware that this is not supported at the moment.
