App stuck on Updating

Hi Community,

while updating an app got stuck on the "Updating...".  After serveral minutes of no change i decided to restart to ctrlX (via the UI), but after the restart the problem persists. (The app still is stuck on "Updating..." and it is not possible to switch to operation mode)

Is there any way to reset this?  (we have ssh root access)

Or does this require a full system reset? If yes can the system reset be done like the update to RM21.11?

Edit: Short Update. We decided to do a full system reset via µSD Card, so we can continue working on the ctrlX.

can you tell which app was in "Updating..." ? I've heard there is a 1h timeout.

It's correct you had this behavior with RM21.11 or any older release ? Which version of Device Admin was installed?

It was a self built app, but the installation of it worked fine a lot of times before. (And works fine again after the reset)

I did not time it, but i assume we waited for more than an hour and the app was still stuck on updating.

Yes, we had that behaviour with RM21.11 and Device Admin v1.12.2.

strange, what you can try, since it was your own build snap, to manual uninstall/remove via the ssh terminal.

Normally with this version you have, after 1h timeout the "updating..." should disappear.
