The Setup App provides capabilities to flexible backup and restore ctrlX CORE device settings, configurations and app installations. The user is able to compose a customized setup for the ctrlX CORE devices and transfer these settings and apps between devices.

- Initial start-up of a new device
- Restore of a non-functional device
- Update of outdated device
Create setup: select the ressources to be added to the setup and encrypt the file.
Apply setup: select a file and apply the setup.
The desired settings have been transfered on the device.
This Setup App app is, as a system runtime app, part of the basic firmware of the ctrlX CORE control and is delivered pre-installed as standard. The system runtime app can be updated individually in the engineering of the ctrlX CORE.
