can anyone explain us, the projects management with WebIQ and WebIQ ctrlx App,
ex : when the project loaded is edited, where is loaded ? (in ctrlx ? or in in the PC ? ) , what is the Path ?
I noticed that the we have 2 workspace paths in the PC ,
1- In ProgramData C:\ProgramData\WebIQ\WebIQ Projects
2- in Appdata C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Roaming\webiq-designer\workspace
which one we should use to for example upload additionnal images or CSS manually ?
Once the Project downloaded to the ctrlx Runtime, on which path the project is pusblished ,
yes, that is a very valid question. I tried to illustrate this with two graphs.
Basically, all WebIQ projects are saved in a project directory, on the PC this is C: \ ProgramData \ WebIQ \ WebIQ Projects, on the ctrlX-Core a directory / snapdata.
When the project is loaded, it is copied to the workspace of the designer (…. \ Roaming \ webiq-designer \ workspace) regardless of whether the server is on the PC or the ctrlX-Core.
With the publish, the changed project is played back into the project storage.
If you want to start the project with the browser, the project must be "started" or given "Autostart" and can then be displayed via the URL.
I hope that makes the topology a little clearer.
