Hi All.
I'm having a problem configuring an Indradrive HCS01 over Ethernet/IP due to the lack of an EDS file for the firmware I am running on it.
From the rexroth website it states that the device "must be configured as a generic" device under certain firmwares. Unfortunately mine is on this list.
The firmware I am running is: FWA-INDRV_-MPB-16V26-D5. Without the EDS file I am getting the following error from the Scanner as I cant figure out the correct connection details for this drive. The PLC/Software im using to connect to the drive is codesys based.
For a generic device I need to enter the below parameters.
If anyone has any experience with this drive over Ethernet/IP, I would greatly appreciate some help. Or perhaps point me in the right direction on determining the parameters myself?.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Paul.

Hi Paul,
You can find instructions and tools that describe how to do this here: www.boschrexroth-us.com/IndraDriveAOIs
A simple registration is required to download the solution set. Within the zip file, you will find an instruction manual that will describe the Ethernet/IP setup for the IndraDrive. It is specific to the AOI set that comes with it, but it should be clear enough to configure other communication requirements if the AOI set is not used.
The solution above uses a generic device configuration in the AB program but if you need the eds file, you can find it in the downloads section of our website, under any IndraDrive page. Here is an example.
