We have connected the crtlx core with the IO-Link master module (communication via Profinet) via the XF24 interface.
The app Profinet device is installed and a device could be created.
However, the status remains at Safe-OP when switching from PRE-OP.
On the IO-Link master module, the "BF" LED also flashes red all the time. According to the description of the module this means "Link status is present,
no communication connection to the PROFINET controller".
We have already exchanged the connections, i.e. tried XF23 and also used the second connection on the IO-Link master module.

which Profinet Controller are you using? The Profinet Device App offers a PN device like the S67E-PN-IOL8 is.
we use the Rexroth IO Link Master Module S67E-PN-IOL8-DI4-M12-6P - R911174436.
The bus system is Profinet.
What do you mean that the Profinet app specifies something?
Please beware the the Profinet app is client only. You cannot use it as controller for running the IO-link module.
ok and which Rexroth IO-Link module can I then use for the crtlx X3?
On board the ctrlX CORE X3 is an EtherCat master so can use this to connect IO-Link gateways.
Or you can use PLC based fieldbus masters to connect e.g. a Profinet device. Find some information here.

However, we are active in the field of didactics and would like to use Rexroth components.
Are IO Link modules planned that can be connected to the crtlx ? Or are there already hardware solutions ?
Like I tried to point out, you can use the "S67E-PN-IOL8-DI4-M12-6P" as a device at the ctrlX CORE by using a PLC based Profinet scanner (See post above).
