Custom Certificates for OPC UA Server ( Own, CA ) not working ?

Hi, 

I am trying to use custom CA certificate for ctrlX OPC UA Server Application . But they are not working.

I uploaded a certificate in the category of Own but OPC UA Server is still sending its default certificate instead of this newly uploaded one. 

Please help on this

Hi Kartikkman,

currently the OPC UA Server App only supports self signed certificate as described here: https://docs.automation.boschrexroth.com/doc/3485899442/certificate-management/2-04/en/.

But you can experiment with 1.16:

There you can configure the OPC UA Server certififcate configuration in opcuaserver/serverconfig/opcua_appconfig.cfg. Therefore you have to save archive of you data first on your local machine and modify it there and load and activate this on the ctrlX again. After that a restart of the OPC UA Server App oder ctrlX is required.

Please keep in mind that the server also needs a corresponding private key for the certificate.

We currently work on solution to address use-cases with CAs. If you can describe your use-case a little more we can also consider this in our future solution.
