Dear ctrlX Community!
As I understand properly, currently the XF23/XF24 configurable as a ProfiNET slave.
Do You plan to make capable this adapter as an EtherCAT slave?
This would be very-very useful! (e.g. for communicating with KUKA KRC robot controllers)

As far as I used Kuka KRC they have been EtherCat slave and can be commanded e.g. with our MLC controller as an EtherCat master via MxAutomation library.
Actually there is no hard time schedule for being EterCat slave. This will be not realized on the ports you mentioned.

Yes, We can control the KRC by a PLC with EtherCAT master, but - because of the KRC is also an EtherCAT master - we have to use an EL6695-1001 EtherCAT bridge, which is so expensive, but also much slower than master-slave direct solution. 😀

I hope the Developer Team will find a solution to connect an EtherCAT master to the CORE.
