cant generate CSR file for AWS IoT Core Client in Codesys

I am using the AWS IoT Core Client from the IIOT Library. I have the credentials and keys of the MQTT broker I want to connect to.

I need to create an CSR file in the PLC shell but the PLC shel is blank, see attachment. How can i create a CSR file without PLC shell? 

I got credentials (Root Certificate and public & private key) from the AWS. I need codesys to allow these credentials.

How can install the credentials in Codesys?

small addition/adjustment to previous post:

I added the certificates in codesys (without a key though got them in a seperate file). They are the certificates generated by the AWS broker.

Even though the certificates are installed there is still no connection to the AWS Broker.

Are the certificates added incorrectly or something?
