If you replace your battery, the notification is resolved. Since 1.16 it is a persitent notification and the Led bar is used tosignal the user this notification is present. The early crore have toom much standby power from the battery and therfore it gets easily drained when th ecore is not powered. I beleive you can get a replacement if this is a problem for you. If you core is powerred 24/7 it is less of a problem.

This sounds like an issue wih IP routing. Since you can ping the ctrlX-CORE from the router there is nothing which needs to be changed on the core side. What is the subnet of the wifi dongen and is this equal to the subnet your PC uses? For instance if the Wifi network has 192.168.10.0/24 and the PC is on 192.168.11.0/24 you need a routing entry in your router to make sure a ping form 192.168.11.x (IP address of the PC) is routed to subnet 19.168.10.0/24 and not towards the internet what it normally would do.

I always do this trough the configurations. If you have a core with an empty Node-Red you can store the configuration and download the ZIP file. When opening the ZIP file with 7zip you can remove everthing except the Node-Red part. When you upload such a configuration to the other CORE you overwrite the Node-Red config. No need to re-install Node-Red. Reboot is required. This is what I keep in the ZIP The same whay I am deploying Node-Red flows on multiple cores. I understand that in future we can use the Setup app for tis but have not experienced with it so far.
