Good afternoon, we are trying to connect a Kawasaki robot as an ECAT slave to ctrlX Core. We installed the ESI file, we could scan the network and add in the IO Engineering the device but we could not command it in OP. I attached the returned error, it seems that the Core try to write a ReadOnly object (0x1c12), I could find it only below the CoE tab in the slave area, but I could not decide to write it or not. What are we doing wrong? Thanks in advance for the support.

Hello, when the customer wants to exchange array or structure tags, will it count based on number of elements? E.g. an array with 100 elements count as 1 or as 100? Thanks Carlo Mariani

Hello, good to know that the node will be robust and will keep on trying to reconnect. I was thinking more to allow authentication without using the node-red frontend (the config part of the node). How about giving the credentials through a message? I wrote an example and a more detailed description on GitHub. Thanks Regards Carlo

Hello, I agree with @Mauro, it could be useful to be able to perform authentication on demand. I looked in the code but I haven't touched it, I would like to know your opinion so I write an issue on GitHub: https://github.com/boschrexroth/node-red-contrib-ctrlx-automation/issues/14 btw: I really like the node it will be a very good tool for our customer, thanks!
