Performance: If the RM 20.11 is used there is no influence to the performance. Because the different APPS are using diffenent CPU Cores. Core 0/1: generall use (e.g. VPN, OPC-UA, ...) Core 2: PLC Core 3: EtherCat, Motion, Datalayer Easy way to check the CPU load: Actual there are only basic information With next release it's planned to have a graphical overview over all running task.

Currently there are problems with multi apllication (retain handling, ...). As shortterm workaround the mult-appliaction was disabled in this versions. It's planned to have this function with the next release again...

Sorry for the late answer. Currently it's not possible to call methodes/procedures/ ... at/over the datalayer. But there are plannings to do this in the future. Concepts already in discussion.

You can use different languages for writing Apps for the ctrlX CORE. But to interact with the datalayer you need some interface-functions. Currently we provide this function with our SDK only for C/C++. Python and Go are in preparation. If there is need to extent the language range please contact our product / business development.

Currently it is not possible to add customer used licenses to this OSS overview. But we are discussing some concepts regarding customizing ctrlX CORE UI. And this issue will be part of this discussion.
