I have a VEP40 (XPe/Win7e) and VR2104 HMI.The VR2104 display's and variables that are mapped(linked) to variables on the VEP40 via the TCP/IP interface. Using Indraworks 14.20 this interfaceworks fine. However if I download the systemfiles via Indraworks 14.22 (14.20 compatibility mode) to the two devices and install the same projects, I somehow loose the TCP/IP link bewteen the variables, as changing them on one screen does not update the other.  Note: the VR2104 project fails to launch when downloaded  via 14.22 (14.20 compatibility mode), I have to recreate the VR2104 in 14.22 (14.20 compatibility mode) for the VR2014 to display the default screen. The VEP does not have the same issue the project launches fine however I no longer seem to have the TCP/IP link between the variables on the VEP40 and the CR2104. I've stripped this down to a single screen project and 4 variables one of each type (Bool,Int,Real,String). All works fine with  indraworks 14.20 system files but consistently fails when downloading the 14.22 system files. Also noted the HMI projects created in 14.22 do not work when downloading them to the devices in 14.20 with 14.20 systemfiles. I note for 14.22 there are some new security option for the communication settings on HMI devices. Do these need some setup aher than the default values? ... View more
