The dashboard pallete that is installed by default with the NodeRED app on ctrlX is node-red-dashboard v3.6.5, which is based on Angular v1. As of the end of 2021, Angular v1 is in End of Life status and will now longer maintained or updated with any sort of security improvements. The pallete still works and likely will for a while, but should users have any concerns about working on it without future support? Are there plans to update the NodeRED app to a different default dashboard pallete such as Flow Fuse Dashboard v2.0, uiBuilder, or another? Or will it be up to the user to determine the best application for themselves and install the necessary palletes?
