When using our ctrlX AUTOMATION - Node-RED app an login for the backend is always needed and the user management of the ctrlX OS is used.
Please refer to "Option to replace the Settings.js file from the NodeRed snap" for available locations. See example settings.js attached.
You could also create your own user management in the Node-RED application and hide/disable screens based on this.
