Moved to own topic from "How to use ctrlX CORE to communicate to 3rd party HMI via Codesys V3 protocol?".
In general insecure communication will not longer be supported in current and later versions (>= 1.20) of ctrlX OS. So disabling encryption will not longer be available as it is not state of the art and exposes communication to attackers.
Please check with the HMI supplier to get a version of their system that is supporting encryption. In an very early state of this discussion a customer found that HMI has some settings or could get an update to support it.
