Hello, is there any chance to get a feedback that axis is in "parking axis"? A ctrlX Core and ctrlX Drive is used. There are two parameters / commands for starting and ending parking axis. In help I just found the status-word S-0-0135. Bit 14 & 15 are "00" when in parking. But this is just a "ready" feedback and not an explicit "parking" feedback. And ctrlX Core doesn't recognise anything while there is no power. First, if "power on" then an error: In former times when used an IndraDrive instead ctrlX Drive there was just one command to start parking. Parking was active as long as command was active. So with checking the command it was possible to find out if axis is in parking mode or not. Now, the command (C1600) goes back to "0" after executing. To re-activate the drive (ending parking axis) another command (C1700) is to use. With IndraDrive command ended with switch from OM to PM automatically. In ctrlX Drive it keeps alive. So it is important to read out in which state the drive is. Using S-0-0135 is not good. Becaus if Drive is in PM or CM bit 14&15 are both "00" and therefore not an indicator for axis in "PA" (and for OM not explicit enough). For my use case it's strongly important to connect/disconnect engines at drives during runtime by customer, depending on how many engines are currently needed.

@JordiLaboria Issue is identified: Due to converting from 1.20 to 2.04 settings in recipe manager were lost. A circumstance detected in this post already: Missing path of recipe manager read/write with PLC V2.04 (boschrexroth.com) Only recipes which are created in Engineering work. But recipes created during runtime don't. Now, the issue that during runtime created recipes are not known anymore after OFF/ON (they are lost) is attributable to this setting: Setting was lost during converting v1.20 -- v2.04 In recipe manager: If not activated, during runtime created recipes are lost after OFF/ON or restart. If activated during runtime created recipes are saved and can be used after OFF/ON or restart. Taking a look to "Recipe_Manager.GetRecipeNames" Before OFF/ON After OFF/ON: Documentation of recipe manager is confusing and doesn't describe what is meant in an understandable way. Right now, I found another way to get it working. It's not what I'd like to have but good enough to have a first solution: With my own Visu (CoDeSys WebVisu) I placed the "webbrowser" element and browse to ctrlX OS Web infterface. In ctrlX OS Web Interface there is a new user "user" with restricted permission just to manage "storage". There the user can "mount"/"remove" a USB storage device. With that, I reached what I wanted to have: -Customer / user musn't start a webbrowser or call another page -Customer / user can do it from my Visu -No further code, software, program or anything is needed What I don't like: -Customer has contact with base system (ctrlX). Thanks to limited permissions it should be save but who knows what customer does intendend/unintendend @CodeShepherd are there any plans to implement the function in DataLayer? Because status request is possible, giving commands like mount and remove would be great and makes it much easier and safer (not for me, for my customers). Thanks guys for hints and help

Hello @Sgilk thanks for reply. Maybe I forget to mention but it should be possible with a own visu. There I'd like to set a PLC command to mount / remove a USB device. Because to copy files from PLC to USB or USB to PLC is working fine. But it is nonsense when it is not possible to "mount" / "remove" the device with PLC commands. And I really don't want that customer uses ctrlX Web Interface or that I have to use other tools to program any action for this.

Hello, is there a way to mount/remove an USB device connected at XF01 (CoreX3) via PLC commands? Just found ways with Node-Red. Because all things like detecting an USB, read and write files, and so on, ware possible with PLC commands. In any way I want to avoid using different programing which only makes punsh of functions and ends in a mixed up result. It would be a great pleasure if doing this and maybe this with PLCcommands only. Are there any hints? Thanks
