I am trying to configure a Beckhoff ECat IO Link Master, however I'm unable to plug any devices. Setup: Version 1.20 (has also been tested in 1.18) ctrlX CORE -> EK1818 (ECat IO Coupler) -> LE6224 (ECat IO Link Master) -> Some sensor I've included the device decription files used for these devices. However when I come to setup the device ports, no device is present. I would expect to see SIO Standard Digital In / Standard Digital Out at minimum. Although in the application we need to configure one port for an RFID read/write IO. When I download the configuration all other devices achieve OP, however EL6224 only achives PRE-OP. Of course the ECat Master reports an error "slave(s) not at master state", however the EL6224 device reports no error. Now I assume the reason it cannot achieve OP is due to the configuration being incomplete? In the real application there will be spare/unsued ports. So we need a way to configure them... ... I don't know if this is by deisgn or some incorrect configuration. Setup using ctrlX WORKS Version 1.20 (this has also been tested and works the same way for Versio 1.18) By default configuration you recieve the following error when trying to install IODD file into ctrlX IO Engineeering device description. We can confirm the error message by visiting the add-on installer Solution Within the CodeSys - Addon  Profinet Controller you can find the IO-Link package (as you will see below, this works for Ethercat, not use profinet) Here we have installed the package And here we can see the IODD file will now install and can be used in configurating the IO     ...
