I have to say i have also found this strange behavior yesterday. PLC engineering was not able to write on some variables. Even though they were writable on datalayer. What solved the problem was to create a new ethercat configuration and load it to the core again.

neither do i. This is a fresh new instalation on my customer. He tried creating a new VM, but they all end up requiring license to the plc app.

Hello Coleagues This strange behavior is happenning on a fresh new installed 1.16 ctrlx Works on our customer machine. The plc app requires licensing, which it should not ( at least for 4 hours). Anyone know how to fix this behavior?

Hi Nick I tried the follwing. I created a json file with this content (copied from help): Them saved it as diag.json. Then i send it to active configuration ( thanks for the tip about webdav). But when i tried to activate it: Also in the folder home/rexroot: Both return error. I guess the problem is on my diag.json content. Do you have an example?
