SAFEX-C.12 and SAFEX-C.15 OSSD Light Curtain Functionality

Hello,

Currently we are using a light curtain with OSSD signals in a Pnoz and we would like to use it in the SAFEX-C.15 but in the Pnoz we use it with the Manual Start function.

In can only find the Automatic Start and Monitored Start in the SAFEX-C.15, is there a possibility to use a Manual start of the light curtain (with an start/reset button) ?

At the moment I programmed it as an auto start with a flip-flop in the program, to realise the same functionality. But a manual start to reset the light curtain would be a nice option.

Hi @WEMO_MPA,

From what I understand what you need is indeed the "Start Type": Monitored.

Then, on the properties of the Start/Reset Button you have to check the property "Use for Monitored Start Up".

Then you need to link them in the Functional scheme like this:
