Hi @KarstenK 

Is there any way to open CtrlX PLC Engineering restricting what the user can do, for example, opening CtrlX PLC Engineering and limiting the user to only create/edit a POU ? If so, can this be accomplished using the API or other means ? 

Can I use the API to make online changes to the PLC?

Moved to the corresponding forum "ctrlX PLC" from the store entry "SDK for ctrlX AUTOMATION".

You can restrict a project or parts of it by the integrated user management in the ctrlX PLC Engineering. See official online documentation "Protecting and saving the project".

Yes, online changes can be done via the ctrlX PLC Enginering REST API. See official online documentation "API for ctrlX PLC Engineering".
