Use CtrlX IO Engineering to change EtherCAT Address question?

Hello CtrlX team

I have a question,I wonder if the EtherCAT address can be changed or not ?

what does "configured station alias(ADO 0X0012)" for what do?

If i Specified address through configured station alias(ADO 0X0012) ,then the EtherCAT address will be changed to what i specified after I download the CtrlXIO configuration?

If an EtherCAT device supports configured station alias 0x0012 or a fixed EtherCAT address, then this can be set in the ctrlX IO Engineering. This will be applied to the EtherCAT Master configuration only.

With the current ctrlX IO Engineering version it’s not supported to write or to change the configured station alias 0x0012 in a EtherCAT device which support that.

The XB-EC-12 with FW v1.4.0 will support station alias 0x0012
