VPB equivalent with ctrlX

In VPB40.4, there was two display port, CDI & DP.

And it was possible to connect monitor directly on Display port and another ctrlX HMI DE ( R911404268) on CDI+ port.

And so external monitor was only used for monitoring and HMI was used for machine operations.

How can we do similar configuration with ctrlX CORE or ctrlX IPC??

Hi,

we launch soon the successor product of VPB40.4. Its called PR5. Here you have also the possibility of 2x DP and 1xCDI+. 

Does this answer your questition? What is your usecase in specific?

Will PR5 be available with ctrlX OS ?

PR5 with ctrlX OS is technical possible BUT w/o realtime. So far it is not a product to sell yet. Please contact me regarding this topic in a private message.

Regarding X3 and X7 --> here you do not have CDI+, but 1x DP is possible.
