Updating OS to ubuntu core 18

How one go about updating the OS from ubuntu core 16 to 18?

you don't have to update.

Our ubuntu core is using both, core16 and core18, so all functions are available here in parallel.

Most likely from the RM21.11 release in November also core20 will be built in.

Keep in mind that the core16 will at least from version RM22.03 not longer be available.
