Is there any NTP security implemented?

What security mechanisms are implemented when using NTP protocol on the ctrlX Core? There are NTP vulnerabilities out there but how is the ctrlX Core protected against them?

At the moment we are only supporting NTP that means without special security mechanisms like NTS (RFC8915). Also we think that because of the RFC is quite new (2020) there are quite now servers supporting NTPS.

If you like to secure NTP communication at the moment you will have to use a VPN.

We will check NTS as a feature for our system. Thanks for mentioning.
