Email Notification when there is an error or warning in the application

Hello Innovators and professionals,

I have a question regarding an application, I want to send email notification from my machine which is running CtrlX Core. I have PLC, EtherCAT, WebIQ, and IXON (Connected to Internet). How can I Send an email notification ? What are the Apps required and do anyone have a document or know how? Is it posssible with IOT dashboard?

Hi Tasty Tech, 

Email notification libraries have been in CodeSys for a long time now.  So you could go that route with the PLC app, by downloading the necessary libraries/packages from CodeSys.  However, considering you already have the IXON app, in my opinion, it is even easier to setup Alarm email notifications through the IXON cloud.  See here for reference: https://support.ixon.cloud/hc/en-us/articles/360018155959-Receive-and-filter-incoming-notifications
