This video demonstrates how to set up a QEMU Virtual Machine as development environment for the associated Software Development Kit (SDK) of ctrlX AUTOMATION.
Here you can find the console commands used in this video
- create a new VM
- connect to VM using ssh
ssh -p 10022 email@example.com
- download the SDK and unzip it
wget https://github.com/boschrexroth/ctrlx-automation-sdk/releases/download/1.12.1/ctrlx-automation-sdk-1.12.1.zip unzip ctrlx-automation-sdk-1.12.1.zip
- shutdown the VM
Ssh authentication with rsa key pair
First generate a new key pair, copy the public key from the host to the VM and then overwrite the authorized keys of the VM. Finally delete the public key.
ssh-keygen -t rsa scp -P 10022 id_rsa.pub boschrexroth@localhost:~/.ssh/ ssh -p 10022 boschrexroth@localhost "cat ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub >>~/.ssh/authorized_keys" ssh -p 10022 boschrexroth@localhost "rm ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub"
