Hello to everyone,
I don't know it this is the right place where to ask this question because it takes in account both PLC and EthercatIs there a way to write the Ethercat start parameters from the PLC? Is this a planned feature?

Hello Mauro,
can you please explain the usecase a bit.
You dont want to operate the ECAT parameters with PLC function like SetBusState and SoEWriteParameter acyclic.
What about the impacts of the PLCbased modification on the IO-Engineering project... an update on the IOProject does not take place, and the project overwrite the setup next time.
Please add some prosa regarding the usecase.
Thanks and bye,
Jens

Hi Jens,
Sorry i was in vecation. I ask directly to the customer what he needs to do precisely. But i got your point, i suggested to use the standard "write parameter" from codesys using the asynchronous channel.
I let you know.

Hi,
The customer solved his problem using the standard PLC write parameter funtions. For some it was tricky but it works.
Thanks
