Hi,
I would like to use Ipemotion software for receiving and analysing data from the sensors. System has possibility to perform as Ethercat Master. It requires though ENI file (compatible with Beckoff).
The quesiton is how to generate such file for Rexroth EtherCat configuration?

Could you add some more information/links about the software and Sensors that should be used? How would the topology look like? Should the software be EtherCat slave or the sensors only? How is the connection between sensors and software?
In general the ENI/ESI files are created by the supplier of the slave. Ich these are using standard EtherCat mechanisms/interfaces they are compatible with the ctrlX COREs EtherCat master.

Hi @tturek
the ENI-file is located at the ctrlX CORE in the Active Configuration. At "Manage app data" -> "EtherCAT Master" -> "config" -> "<instancename>" -> ethercat.xml.
The generation of this file is done by the software ctrlX IO Engineering. For first steps with the ctrlX IO Engineering see this video on YouTube.
Best regards,
Nick
