Read data from old Rexroth controls like CMP70/PPC over OPC DA

Hello,

We have requirement from customers to read data from old Rexroth controls like CMP70/PPC. These devices only talk over OPC DA. Can we use the device bridge app on CtrlX to accomplish this?

Hello,
As the OPC technology relies on the DCOM configuration, the same must be configured in order to exchange data.

In windows version of DeviceBridge, we do not recommend to disable DCOM as this might impact the built-in components and existing applications.Henceforth, we offer an opc tunneler application in addition to DeviceBridge to bypass DCOM setting to talk to OPC DA server for a seamless connection.

Similar approach can be followed for DeviceBridge app on ctrlX

I have tried setting up DeviceBridge app on CtrlX to get data over OPC DA. But I do not have any luck. Do you have any documentation that explains what's needed to setup OPC DA on the DeviceBridge app in CtrlX?
