Hi Filip_K, this is not yet possible, ctrlX CORE can only be a EtherCAT Master at the moment. Maybe you have other options to solve your task, like OPCUA, or Profinet Device? Regards

Hi, rexroot in a virtual core is already a root user, but you have to login via ssh client, eg. putty or mobaXterm, to have full sudo root access. As mentioned above, via the IDE app you just end up in the sandbox of the IDE app.

Hi srsps, even if sudo would work, you endup just in the sandbox of the IDE app, so you would not have sudo access to the system. This is only possible with a root user assertion. Regards

Hi Domino, the EtherCAT configuration has to be build manually, depending on the configuration of the slave. In the future we will support an upload of the configuration from the slave, but not yet. The configuration has to look somehow like this, depending on how many bits and bytes you configured in your slave. A more detailed how to will follow.

Hi Zimmbo, not sure if I got you right. But the Ethercat on a ctrlX CORE Plus is wired internally, you are not allowed to connect the XF50 to any other port on your device. Most likely this will cause some loop. Maybe you can make a picture of your setup? Which versions of apps and Works are you using? Regard.
