I have a similar problem I was wondering whether it is currently possible to save data from the data layer to a network on the host using smbclient It looks like Snapcraft doesn't quite like this

I've found the cause why my outputs weren't working correctly. The problem started when I added the axis interface template to my project. Somewhere in the demo code in the axis interface it overwrites the datalayer. I don't know exactly where it does this but after I deleted the demo programs from my project I didn't have any problem anymore with my outputs and controlling my axis.

I've fixed the problem. The problem was the ethercat master, for whatever reason it would write my data back to 0. I solved this by deleting the old ethercat master and adding a new ethercat master.

Here the same issue. Encoder cable of servodrive was malfunctioning. As a result the ServoDrive ethercatbus node didn't go to OP mode. We were able to control outputs in the remote I/O unit but inputs were not read by the datalayer. We solved the encoder cable issue and the inputs were read again. @Rexroth development: Shouldn't this be considered as a design fault? A malfunctioning encodercable should not lead to a complete fall-out of the entire machine / system

Hi JLG_War, there are several modules/paletts for Node-RED available doing an sftp connection, if one of them suits for you you can download the file. See attached screenshot.
